Job Description:

The Web Design Project Lead will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of their team and contributing to team development. These responsibilities extend to employee training, monitoring work queues, distributing work, maintaining efficient workflow systems, and acting as the first point of escalation for their team. This is a remote supervisory position.


Essential Functions:

  • Effectively distribute work within the team while monitoring work queues and design project statuses
  • Act as first point of escalation for complex design tasks and interdepartmental issues
  • Facilitate employee training for new team members
  • Track key departmental statistics and KPI metrics
  • Offer recommendations and implement departmental efficiency improvements
  • Provides ETAs and act as the main POC for client and technical support issues

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Experience in web design, including responsive web design
  • Strong understanding of Design Systems and Process
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in design and front-end website development (Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, SASS etc.)
  • Strong fundamental HTML/CSS/JS skills (applicants should be able to hand-code, we do not use WordPress, PHP, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • 8 years’ experience in field or career
  • Prior experience as a supervisor or manager
  • Experience with Workflow Management Systems such as JIRA
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Understanding of Project Management
  • Strong understanding of design principles: typography; color theory, and layout

The salary range for this position is $50,900 - $94,800.

The maximum range shown represents your earning potential with DealerOn for the life time of the role.
