Billing Manager
The Billing Manager will be responsible for Managing the AR & billing team and activities. Managing billing processes: Overseeing the billing process for customer accounts, including ensuring invoices are sent out accurately and on time. Making sure all customer billing questions are answered in a timely manner.
This is a mid-level position, hybrid two days in office, located in the Headquarters office (Rockville, MD). Local candidates only.
Essential Functions:
- Managing billing processes: Overseeing the billing process for customer accounts, including ensuring invoices are sent out accurately and on time
- Working with other departments: Interfacing with accounts receivable, credit and collections, and client purchasing departments
- Auditing billing records: Auditing billing records for accuracy
- Hiring and training staff: Hiring, training, and supervising billing staff
- Monitoring changes: Monitoring, responding to, and communicating changes in billing requirements, regulations, and reimbursement rates
- Maintaining provider enrollments: Maintaining provider enrollments with payers
- Providing customer service: Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including customers and colleagues
- Assisting with posting Journal entries
- Assist with month end close reconciliations on a need basis.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 5-10 years’ experience
- Experience with NetSuite
- Other Requirements such as:
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
- Self-starter
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Self-confidence and respect for other people
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Experience with SuiteBilling
- Other preferred areas such as certifications or other attributes:
- Experience in a fast-paced, environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
- Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
